Biography

Guanyao XIE completed a Master's degree in Geographic Information: Spatial Analysis and Remote Sensing at the Ecole Nationale des Sciences Géographiques of the University Paris-Est Marne-la-Vallée. Since November 2018, she has been preparing a thesis entitled "New European satellite data. What is the interest for local authorities? Applications for land use changes detection in Brest " at Université de Bretagne Occidentale under the supervision of Dr. Simona Niculescu. The aim of this thesis is to detect changes in land use in Brest using new European satellite images, analyse the main factors of change, and create a model of these changes over several years.
